Senior Analog Applications Engineer

Location: Milpitas, CA

Job Description:

Design, build, and test custom evaluation circuits to verify/validate operation of signal-path analog integrated circuits in development. Design, build, and test custom demonstration circuits to support product sales. Provide customer applications and circuit development support. Create product-specific development kit GUIs/software for internal/external customers. Compose product datasheet applications information, applications notes, and publish how-to design articles. Provide customer applications input on new product definitions. Directly interface with Touchstone Semiconductor Field Applications Engineers, distribution field applications engineers, and key customers.

Qualifications:

The optimal candidate will possess a BSEE degree (MSEE degree, preferred) and 15 years (minimum) direct experience with signal-path analog integrated circuits. Candidates with direct experience in medium-resolution ( 12bits), medium-speed ( 1Msps) data converter products are encouraged to apply. Candidates with extensive experience in board-level analog circuit/systems design are also encouraged to apply. Candidates shall also possess strong analytical and board-level electronic lab troubleshooting skills as well as experience with analog PCB design and layout. In addition, candidates must also exhibit excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Some experience writing interface code (SMBus, I2C, SPI) using 8-/16-bit microcontrollers as well as programming experience in a high-level language such as C++, C, Visual Basic would be considered a plus. Senior Field Applications Engineer

Location: Milpitas, California

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will provide field applications engineering support for all Touchstone Semiconductor analog IC products. This effort involves identifying/following up on key opportunities to position best solutions tailored to customers’ application requirements. By working directly with customers, manufacturing sales representatives, distribution, and Touchstone Semiconductor Marketing and Sales, primary key to candidate’s success is growing Touchstone Semiconductor business via quantified design wins. Position is based at the Touchstone Semiconductor headquarters in Milpitas, CA.

Principal activities include:

  • Understanding and disseminating customers' system needs verses desires.
  • Proposing well-reasoned system solutions to customers.
  • Training customers, manufacturing representatives, and distribution sales/applications engineers
  • on Touchstone Semiconductor solutions and products.
  • Provide training to Touchstone Semiconductor design and applications engineering on analog/
  • digital system-level requirements.
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key customers/accounts.
  • Developing and proposing new product ideas to Touchstone Semiconductor Design Engineering
  • and Executive Management to address customers' applications/market requirements.

Qualifications:

  • BSEE or equivalent - MSEE preferred.
  • Over 10 years direct experience in analog product/system design, prior analog IC field
  • applications engineering, or both.
  • Broad analog and mixed-signal circuit applications/design at board/system level.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver convincing
  • presentations.
  • Capability to work with all levels of management, engineering, marketing, and sales.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task on many projects and set priorities.
  • Ability to help/teach/coach other engineers on design issues.
  • Excellent lab and analog troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with microprocessor/microcontroller-based applications considered a plus
  • Travel up to 50%.

Area Sales Manager/Director

Location: Milpitas, California

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will provide sales management and direct sales support for all Touchstone Semiconductor analog IC products in one of 4 territories in North America. This effort involves direct management of the Representative Network in the respective territory. By working directly with customers, manufacturing sales representatives, distribution, and Touchstone Semiconductor Marketing and Sales Management, the primary key to candidate’s success is growing Touchstone Semiconductor business via quantified design wins and generating revenue. Position is based at the Touchstone Semiconductor headquarters in Milpitas, CA.

Principal activities include:

  • Making sales calls with Representative Network as well as direct sales calls as needed.
  • Managing the assigned territories’ Representative Network.
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key customers/accounts.
  • Aligning the correct resources from Touchstone with the customers’ needs.
  • Providing sales training to manufacturing representatives, and distribution sales/applications
  • engineers on Touchstone Semiconductor solutions and products.
  • Providing call reports to executive management on a weekly basis.
  • Facilitating the collection of opportunity progress reports from the Representative Network.
  • Drive corporate initiatives in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 8 years of Sales experience in the electronics industry.
  • High Performance Analog experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present in front of small and large groups effectively.
  • Capability to work with all levels of management, engineering, marketing, and sales.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task on many projects and set priorities.
  • Local and regional travel, up to 60%.

Analog IC Design Engineer

Location: Milpitas, California

Job Descripiton:

Work with other members of the design team on design, circuit simulation and the supervision of the physical layout of high-performance analog and mixed-signal ICs. Analyze and debug new products.

Qualifications:
MSEE plus 4+ years of experience. Must have proven track record in the development of high-performance analog and mixed-signal ICs, from concept to release. Good understanding of analog circuit blocks like opamps, bandgaps, LDOs, charge pumps, ADCs and DACs and I/Os. Senior Test Engineer

Location: Milpitas, California

Job Description:

As a Senior Test and Product Engineer, you will design, debug and release to production test solutions for various analog and mixed signal integrated circuits using Automated Test Equipments. You will be involved in all phases of product development, including but not limited to design for testability, hands-on debug, test hardware and software design, characterization, data analysis and release to production with yield enhancement. You will constantly interact with design engineering and Operations teams. You will be an important part of an experienced team, working towards becoming a leader in a startup environment.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be very enthusiastic with good communication and leadership skills and ability to contribute in a team based environment. Experience of 6 years or more in ATE Testing , with BSEE/MSEE degree is required, and testing experience in ETS/TMT preferred. A good understanding of analog and mixed-signal products including ADCs, DACs, comparators, amplifiers, Regulators, LDOs, and familiarity with C, C++ and similar programming languages. You must be hands on with lab equipments including Oscilloscope, supplies, DVM etc.
